In 1985, Dutch cartoonist Peter van Straaten began this single-issue comic for publisher Van Gennep, a standalone collection of his signature, wry single-panel cartoons. Known for his keen eye on everyday human folly, van Straaten fills the book with sharply observed, deadpan gags about Dutch domestic and social life.
