Svenska Mad

Svenska Mad (1976–1993) was the Swedish-language edition of Mad magazine, published by Semic across 169 issues. Anchored by the signature absurdist cartoons of Don Martin, the series also featured contributions from Swedish artist Torvald Sundbaum and writers like Bengt Sahlberg and Dick DeBartolo. It brought the iconic American satire to a Scandinavian audience, blending local humor with the magazine’s trademark parody of pop culture and politics.
