Surfer Magazine

A short-lived but culturally potent two-issue series from Surfer Publications (1971–1998), Surfer Magazine brought the counterculture sensibilities of underground comix to the surfing world. Most famously associated with the visionary art of Rick Griffin and the irreverent line of Robert Crumb, the series fused psychedelic design with surf culture's laid-back, anti-establishment spirit.
