About the series
From 1999 to 2004, Exhibit A Press published Supernatural Law, a witty 23-issue comic series that blended legal drama with the uncanny. Created primarily by Batton Lash, with contributions from Alex Grecian and artists including Melissa Uran and Trevor Nielson, the series followed attorneys Alanna Wolff and Jeff Byrd, who specialized in cases involving the paranormal—often crossed paths with their secretary Mavis Munro and even Frankenstein's monster. It stood out for its clever, character-driven take on supernatural litigation, offering a unique voice in indie comics of the era.
