About the series
From 1978 to 1982, K. G. Murray published Superman the Comic, a seven-issue series that presented the Man of Steel in a distinctive Australian format, reprinting and repackaging American stories for a local audience. The series is most strongly associated with the work of writers E. Nelson Bridwell and Martin Pasko, alongside the clean, classic pencils of artists José Luis García-López and Kurt Schaffenberger.
