Panini Deutschland’s Superman Sonderband (2017–2019) collected the core of DC’s Rebirth-era Superman saga across eight volumes, with a creative backbone anchored by writers Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason—the latter also a defining artist alongside Doug Mahnke and Jorge Jiménez. This series presented a more grounded, family-focused take on the Man of Steel, chronicling Clark Kent’s life as a husband and father while he defended Metropolis.
