About the series
From 2013 onward, Marvel's Supercrooks follows a crew of super-powered villains looking to pull off one last heist in a world where heroes are just another obstacle. The series is most strongly associated with artist Leinil Francis Yu, whose gritty, expressive style grounds this crime caper in a morally complex corner of the Marvel Universe. Though it launched with a single issue, its premise of criminals as protagonists offers a fresh, heist-movie spin on the superhero genre.
