About the series
In the mid-1960s, Italian publisher Casa Editrice Dardo launched Super-West (nuova serie), a 64-issue comics series dedicated to the adventures of the Old West. Running from 1963 to 1965, the series is most closely associated with the prolific artist Rino Ferrari, whose dynamic illustrations defined its visual identity. A staple of Italian western comics, Super-West offered readers a steady stream of frontier tales during the genre's peak popularity in Europe.
