Super Sandokan

From 1979, Bastei Verlag published just three issues of Super Sandokan, a German-language comic series adapting Emilio Salgari's classic adventure stories. This short-lived run focused on the swashbuckling exploits of the legendary Malaysian pirate prince, bringing his tropical escapades to a new audience through vivid, action-oriented artwork. While brief, it remains a notable piece of European comics history for its attempt to serialize a beloved literary hero in the medium.
