Super Goof

From 1978 to 1984, Editions Héritage published 29 issues of Super Goof, a lighthearted series that reimagined the classic Disney bumbler as a caped, clumsy superhero. Anchored by the cheerful art of Pete Alvarado, Kay Wright, and Larry Mayer, the comic leaned into slapstick adventure and gentle parody within the familiar Disney universe. While it may not have redefined the genre, its steady run offered readers a reliably fun, all-ages escape during the late Silver and early Bronze Age of comics.
