In this Finnish comic from Zum Teufel, a strange, silent forest creature named Suomaat drifts through a surreal, wordless landscape of folklore and melancholy. Launched in 2024, the series is primarily written by Antti Koivumäki, Sari Sariola, and Tuomas Myllylä, with Myllylä also providing the evocative, atmospheric artwork. Its debut issue establishes a haunting, meditative tone that reimagines Nordic myth through a contemporary, almost dreamlike lens.
