Stripp

Over its 12-issue run from 1990 to 1992, Stripp was a Norwegian anthology comic from Bladkompaniet/Schibsted that gathered an international roster of cartoon talent. The series is most closely associated with underground legend Gilbert Shelton (also a frequent writer) and German comedian Otto Waalkes, while also featuring work from The Far Side's Gary Larson and veteran artist Bob Oksner. It stands as a curious, short-lived window into early-90s European comics publishing, mixing American and European humor in a single, offbeat package.
