In a planned but never-published third issue of Seaboard’s "Stories By Famous Authors Illustrated" series, the comic book adaptation of H. Rider Haggard’s "She" would have followed the publisher’s effort to bring classic literary works to sequential art. Though no copies exist, the series promised condensed, illustrated versions of enduring novels for a mid-century readership.
