Steel Cage

From AHOY Comics, Steel Cage (2019–present) is a satirical superhero series written by Tom Peyer with art by Alan Robinson. The story follows a washed-up, third-rate superhero who, after a humiliating defeat, is sentenced to live in a literal steel cage as a form of public punishment—turning his costumed exploits into a grim reality show. With a sharp, darkly comedic edge, the series skewers celebrity culture and the absurdity of modern media spectacle. Though only one issue has been released, its clever premise and biting humor make it a standout in AHOY’s lineup of offbeat, creator-driven comics.
