Star Wars Sonderband

From 1999 to 2003, Dino Verlag published Star Wars Sonderband, a 13-issue German-language series that collected and translated key story arcs from the American Star Wars comics of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Writers Michael Nagula, John Ostrander, and Randy Stradley, alongside artists Davide Fabbri, Jan Duursema, and Rodolfo Damaggio, brought pivotal tales from the Expanded Universe to a new audience. This anthology-style series served as an essential bridge, making the wider galaxy of Jedi, Sith, and clone wars accessible to German readers during the prequel era.
