Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire

Set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, this six-issue Dark Horse miniseries from 1996 was a key part of the multimedia Shadows of the Empire event. Written by John Wagner with art by Kilian Plunkett and John Nadeau, it follows Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo as they contend with the criminal underworld and the bounty hunter Boba Fett. The story expanded the original trilogy era, giving fans a new chapter in the saga during a period when no new films were being made.
