About the series
Kieron Gillen and Si Spurrier lead Doctor Aphra, an archaeologist and rogue, through her own Marvel series set in the Star Wars universe between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. Running from 2017 to 2020, this 7-issue arc teams Aphra with her murderous droids, Triple-Zero and BT-1, as she navigates dangerous Imperial entanglements and the fallout of her past betrayals. With art by Ashley Witter, Kev Walker, and Emilio Laiso, the series deepens the morally gray corners of the galaxy, offering a fast-paced, darkly comedic spin on the Rebellion era.
