Star Hawks II

Ron Goulart and Gil Kane launched this short-lived Ace Books series in 1981, a spin-off from the original Star Hawks newspaper strip. The single issue expands the universe of the daily adventure, with Kane’s dynamic, futuristic artwork bringing Goulart’s script to life. Though it lasted only one issue, it’s a curious artifact of the early-80s boom in licensed and original comic properties from prose publishers.
