SPX2004

The SPX2004 anthology was published in 2004 by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, collecting work from a wide array of independent cartoonists in a single benefit issue. This one-shot brings together many of the artists who appeared at the Small Press Expo that year, serving as both a snapshot of the alternative comics scene and a fundraiser for First Amendment legal defense. It matters as a document of the community and a tangible show of support for creative freedom.
