Springheeled Jack

In this three-issue miniseries from Black Boar Press (2003–2004), writer/artist team reimagines the Victorian-era urban legend of Springheeled Jack as a Gothic superhero. Set in a grim, gaslit London, the story follows a mysterious, leaping vigilante who terrorizes criminals while grappling with his own monstrous origins. Though brief, the series is a cult favorite for its moody artwork and its dark, revisionist take on a classic folk figure.
