Spirou Classic

A German-language revival of the classic series, "Spirou Classic" launched in 2021 from Carlsen Comics, collecting and continuing the adventures of the iconic bellhop. Its two-issue run, published to date, reacquaints modern readers with the timeless, whimsical spirit of the original Franquin-era stories, presented with crisp new translations and restored artwork. This compact series matters as a dedicated effort to preserve and reintroduce a foundational European comics hero to a new generation.
