Spider-Man Unlimited
Marvel · 1999–2000 · 5 issues
About the series
In 1999, Marvel launched Spider-Man Unlimited as a five-issue series designed to bridge the gap between the animated series of the same name and its comic-book roots. Written primarily by Eric Stephenson, Michael Reaves, and Will Meugniot, with dynamic art from Andy Kuhn, the series explored a parallel reality where Spider-Man found himself stranded on a world ruled by the High Evolutionary's bestial "Beastials." Though short-lived, this run offered a darker, sci-fi twist on the classic web-slinger mythos, expanding the boundaries of the Spider-Man franchise during the late 1990s.
