Special-Comics

From 1975 to 1977, German publisher Carlsen Comics released Special-Comics, a five-issue series that brought together the best of British adventure strips for a European audience. Most associated with the work of writer Peter O'Donnell and artists Jim Holdaway and John M. Burns, the series is notable for its crisp, cinematic storytelling and elegant linework, serving as a key early vehicle for classic newspaper serials in the German market.
