About the series
In the early 1990s, Image Comics launched Spawn, a dark, supernatural superhero saga created by Todd McFarlane. This Hungarian-language edition, Spawn: Az ivadék átka, collects the first two issues of that landmark series, adapting the origin of Al Simmons, a hellspawn soldier caught between the forces of Heaven and Hell. Published by Infinity in a two-issue run from 2019 to 2021, it brought McFarlane's iconic, moody artwork and gritty storytelling to a new audience. A key entry for Hungarian readers, it marks the beginning of one of independent comics' most enduring antiheroes.
