Space Usagi

In 1996, Stan Sakai brought his beloved rabbit ronin to Dark Horse for a three-issue miniseries that expanded the Usagi Yojimbo universe into a far-future frontier. Space Usagi reimagines the wandering samurai as a spacefaring warrior, blending the creator's signature anthropomorphic storytelling with sci-fi adventure. Though a brief detour from the main saga, it stands as a playful, visually inventive side story from the mind of one of comics' most respected independent talents.
