About the series
In 1993 and 1994, Stan Sakai—the celebrated creator of Usagi Yojimbo—took his rabbit ronin into the far future for this three-issue Mirage miniseries. Space Usagi reimagines the samurai ethos in a sci-fi setting, with Usagi navigating starships, alien worlds, and high-tech conflicts while retaining the honor and martial spirit of his feudal origins.
