The series showcased work from Harvey Kurtzman, Al Feldstein, and Jack Davis, alongside Jeff Jones and John Workman, blending EC-inspired shock tales with space opera and gothic monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein. A cult curio, it mattered as a transatlantic bridge, introducing French readers to wild, unexpurgated American comic strips and characters such as Cody Starbuck and Jesse Bravo.
