Soldat Inconnu

In the early 2010s, Urban Comics published Soldat Inconnu, a four-issue miniseries written by Jérôme Wicky and Joshua Dysart, with art by Alberto Ponticelli and Igor Kordey. The series explores the psychological and physical toll of modern warfare through the lens of a disfigured veteran struggling with memory and identity. Its gritty, visceral storytelling and unflinching art make it a standout example of war comics in the European tradition.
