Inspired by Carmen Rohrbach's real-life solo bicycle journey from Munich to the Black Sea, Solange ich atme (2018–present) is a German graphic travelogue from Hinstorff. Illustrated by Daniel Haas and co-written with Simon Traschinsky, the single-issue comic adapts Rohrbach’s memoir of resilience and self-discovery as she pedals through Eastern Europe. It’s a quiet, introspective entry in the European autobiographical comic tradition, capturing the physical and emotional landscape of a remarkable solo trek.
