About the series
In the late 1980s, the German publisher Bavaria brought Snoopy into his own three-issue comic series, spinning the beloved beagle out of the main Peanuts strip for a solo spotlight. While creator Charles M. Schulz’s timeless humor remained the foundation, this short-lived run offered a focused look at Snoopy’s whimsical adventures and fantasies, from his World War I Flying Ace persona to his daydreams as a literary lion. Though brief, it stands as a niche European tribute to one of comics’ most iconic characters, capturing his charm in a compact, standalone format.
