About the series
A brief Swedish revival of the classic franchise, Smurfarna ran for three issues from 2002 to 2003 under publisher Egmont. This series brought the beloved blue characters from Peyo’s original comics to a new generation of readers in Scandinavia. While short-lived, it stands as a notable late-era entry in the long history of Smurf comics outside of their Belgian homeland.
