About the series
From 1987 to 1988, Hachette published this three-issue miniseries that paired two of the French publisher's most popular Western heroes—Smith and Wesson—in their own short-lived adventure. The series brought together the talents of writer Jean-Michel Charlier and artist Jean Giraud (better known as Mœbius), a legendary creative team whose work defined European comics in the late 20th century. Though brief, the series is a notable example of the polished, character-driven Western storytelling that emerged from the Franco-Belgian tradition.
