Sledgehammer 44

During the 2013–present Dark Horse run of Sledgehammer 44, creators John Arcudi and Mike Mignola (with art by Jason Latour) introduced a World War II-era mystery centered on a secret weapon—a man fused with a powerful, ancient armored suit. This two-issue series expands the Hellboy universe by exploring the origins of the Sledgehammer, a supernatural force deployed by the U.S. military against Nazi occult threats.
