Slam-Bang Comics [ashcan]

A single-issue ashcan from Fawcett in 1940, Slam-Bang Comics was a promotional sampler designed to showcase the publisher's lineup of superheroes and adventure features. Though it never continued beyond this one release, the issue is notable for introducing the original version of Bulletman, a character who would go on to headline his own series. As a piece of Fawcett's early wartime output, it captures the raw energy and experimentation of the Golden Age.
