About the series
Between 1940 and the present, Fawcett published just seven issues of Slam-Bang Comics, a short-lived but energetic anthology series. Most often written by Manly Wade Wellman and drawn by Jack Binder, Alfred Duca, and Gus Ricca, it offered a snapshot of early Golden Age adventure and humor.
