Spawned from the mind of Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa, Sky-Doll is a visually lush science-fiction series from the French publisher Silvester that launched in 2009. Set in a far-future universe where a synthetic humanoid named Noa is worshipped as a god-like figure, the story explores identity, faith, and artificial life. With only three issues released so far, this slow-burning, painterly series has become a cult touchstone for its evocative world-building and striking, fashion-forward character design.
