Silverpilen

From 1978 to 1984, the Swedish publisher Allers ran Silverpilen, a 44-issue comic series written and drawn by Frank Sels. The strip follows a lone, unnamed gunfighter—the "Silver Arrow" of the title—as he drifts through a harsh, morally complex Western landscape. Sels' gritty, expressive artwork and lean storytelling gave the series a distinctive European flavor, making it a memorable entry in the long tradition of Continental Western comics.
