Silver Star

Jack Kirby, co-creator of the Marvel Universe, returned to his own creator-owned vision with Silver Star, a 1984 series from Condor that launched and then paused. Written by Jack and Susan Kirby and illustrated by Kirby, the story introduces a world where a mysterious force grants a small group of people superhuman abilities, setting the stage for a conflict between a powerful hero and a sinister corporate cabal. Though only one issue was released, it stands as a distinctive late-career Kirby project, showcasing his signature cosmic and humanistic themes outside the mainstream.
