Stephan Franck’s Silver (2018–present, Dark Planet Productions Inc.) reimagines the classic Bram Stoker vampire mythos through a noir lens, blending 1930s pulp adventure with supernatural horror. Franck, the series’ sole writer and artist, crafts a moody, black-and-white world where a grizzled con man and a mysterious woman hunt a shadowy, silver-obsessed vampire. This creator-driven passion project, which launched with a single issue, stands out for its striking, cinematic art and its respectful yet inventive twist on Dracula lore.
