Silangan Komiks

A pioneering anthology from Silangan Publication, Silangan Komiks launched in 1950 as one of the earliest Filipino-language comic magazines, running for seven issues. It showcased a range of local talent, including the revered artist Francisco V. Coching, whose work helped define the golden age of Philippine komiks. Though brief in its initial run, the series holds historical significance as a foundational title that nurtured the country's vibrant komiks industry and its enduring storytelling traditions.
