Shudder Tales

Shudder Tales, a six-issue horror anthology from the short-lived Gredown, ran from 1976 to 1977. Known for its moody, black-and-white interiors and often unsettling cover art, the series offered a mix of supernatural chills and grim twists. While the talent behind it remains largely obscure, it stands as a curious artifact of the mid-1970s independent comics boom, when small publishers took risks on dark, genre-driven material that the mainstream often avoided.
