About the series
In the mid-2000s, DC collected the earliest adventures of the Teen Titans in this two-volume black-and-white series, reprinting the team's 1960s and early-1970s debut from The Brave and the Bold and their own title. Written primarily by Bob Haney, with dynamic art by Nick Cardy and a key early contribution from Neal Adams, these stories introduced the original sidekicks—Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad—as they fought crime and grew into young heroes. As part of the Showcase Presents library, this series preserved a foundational era of DC's youth-team concept for new readers.
