Shock Suspenstories

A 1990s revival of the classic EC Comics horror-suspense title, Shock Suspenstories was published by Russ Cochran and ran for eight issues from 1992 to 1994. The series resurrected the signature twist-ending morality tales of the original, with scripts largely by Al Feldstein and Russ Cochran, and artwork predominantly by the great Jack Kamen, whose clean, polished style gave the grim stories an unsettlingly calm surface. For fans of EC, this collection offered a faithful reprinting of some of the most memorable shockers from the 1950s, preserving the publisher's legacy of dark, ironic storytelling.
