About the series
Windmill Comics’ Shock Classics (2012–2015) was a short-lived, two-issue anthology that revived the lurid, twist-ending horror and science-fiction comics of the 1950s. Written and drawn primarily by Albert Survie, with additional art from Gerard van de Werken and Rik van Niedek, the series offered a nostalgic but unflinching take on vintage shock storytelling. Its slim run makes it a curious, cult footnote for fans of retro-tinged genre comics.
