Sheena

About the series

From its debut in 1950, Sheena brought the "Queen of the Jungle" into her own solo series, building on the character's earlier comic and pulp fame. Published by Fiction House and later other imprints, the book was most frequently written by W. Morgan Thomas and visually defined by the art of Joe Doolin, Bob Webb, and the Iger Shop. This run of 23 issues cemented Sheena as a pioneering female action hero in comics, blending adventure with exotic jungle thrills.
