For four years and fourteen issues, Shanda Fantasy Arts Spotlight served as an anthology showcase from the independent publisher Shanda Fantasy Arts, highlighting a rotating roster of creators. The series featured regular contributions from writers Joellyn Auklandus, Richard Thatcher, and Sharon Henderson, alongside artists including Donna Barr, Mike Sagara, and Shawntae Howard. It offered a platform for a diverse range of fantasy and genre work, providing a snapshot of the small-press comics scene at the turn of the millennium.
