Shaiana

From 1995 to 1996, the three-issue series Shaiana offered a playful, Entity-Parody take on the comic landscape, published by an independent press. Written primarily by Eric Duen and Bill Lim-it, with art from the distinctive pencils of Efren "Jay" Anacleto (alongside Jay Anacleto and Toybits), the series is a curious artifact of its era, blending parody and original character work. Its brief run stands as a niche example of 1990s indie experimentation, notable for showcasing Anacleto's early sequential art.
