Shadowslayer

Shadowslayer is a French fantasy series launched in 1995 by Glénat, built around a lone warrior navigating a dark, medieval world. Though the series has only one issue to date, it was created by writer François Froideval and artist Cyril Pontet, whose atmospheric art and grim tone helped define a certain strain of 1990s European heroic fantasy. It remains a cult curiosity for its ambitious worldbuilding and the striking, single-chapter glimpse it offers into a saga that never continued.
