Shadowland: Thunderbolts

In 2011, Marvel spun the Shadowland event into a single-issue spotlight for the Thunderbolts, a team of reformed villains turned government operatives. Written with artist Greg Land on pencils, this series explores the team's uneasy place in a New York torn apart by Daredevil's dark reign. It's a compact, action-driven snapshot of the Thunderbolts' moral conflicts during a pivotal Marvel crossover.
