Shadow Comics

In the 1950s, Streamline launched Shadow Comics, a single-issue series that captured the pulp hero's grim, urban adventures in the post-war era. Most associated with artist Bob Powell, this one-shot distilled the Shadow's classic mystique into a tight, standalone comic—a brief but notable snapshot of the character's transition from radio to the four-color page.
